I am a Long Island, New York landscape photographer. I am always searching for landscape images of light within darkness. Here you are able to browse through some of my favorite images. My favorite views are seascapes, starry nights and vivid landscapes.
I’ve always had a love of photography from a young age. My grandmother is really the person who instilled how important taking photos of family is. Every time we would visit her we would have to sit for a photo. Looking back on this now I understand why.
In High School I was able to take a photography class, using a camera the school supplied with a roll of black & white film. I would take photos of my best friend then go back to class and learn how to develop the film. I still have those photos to this day.
I got married just over a year out of High School and was lucky to raise 4 wonderful children. Needless to say photography wasn’t pursued at that time. A couple of years after my first Granddaughter was born I was able to cut back my hours at work. This left me a lot of free time to go out and explore local beaches with my first DSLR, A Nikon D3200. That was just over 5 years ago and I am currently shooting with a Nikon Z7, Vanguard tripod and my favorite photography tool the PlatyPod .
Some of the places my work has been featured:
The Art Guild, Manhasset, New York “Infinity”
Photographic Society of America Award Of Merit “Sunrise on the Bay”
Islip Art Museum Art at 50 Plus: New Beginnings “Catching the Light” & “Morning Flight”
