- Vising The Arboretum
I was finally able to meet up with one of my friends that I haven’t seen in over a year now. We went to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum and even though it was quite windy out it turned out to be a great morning catching up on things while walking the grounds. There were plenty of trees still in full bloom and you could see that there are still some that are just beginning to bloom. It will certainly be worth another trip there over the next 2 weeks.
I did manage to capture a few images while we were there. I think everyone needs to get out and make time for people in our lives and I couldn’t think of a better way to do that then being outside enjoying nature.
- Getting motivated
I’m not going to lie – 2020 has really been difficult to get out there and do photography. I had so many plans for what I really wanted to capture this year and now looking back over the past 7 months I may not have got to go to all of the places that I wanted to photograph but I do believe I have finally realized how much my photography means not only to me but others as well.
So many people let me know how much they look forward to me posting to my social media and that really means so much to me. It really makes me happy to know that when I do make that effort to get out that that it is bringing joy to others and that is really my purpose in sharing what I see. I want everyone to realize how beautiful it is to get outside, wake up early for a sunrise (yes, sometimes even at 2 am to get there) or stay up late to capture the starry night sky. It makes all of the planning and time it takes worth it to me.
I have some pretty big plans for the following year and hope that you will all continue to follow along with me!
I have a promotion running for the whole month of November 25% off all prints if you use code FALL25 – if you have seen something that is not in my gallery please let me know and I will be happy to help you out
