This title seems appropriate since in a way I am starting over.
Last year my Dad passed away, I quit my job and we picked up our brand new Forest River Cardinal 5th wheel. We’ve never owned an RV before or even camped for that matter. On October 4th we headed out for 6 months of traveling and being free to explore and photograph beautiful new locations I’ve never been to before.
Scary, yes but also a fabulous adventure so we will head out again this fall for a little over 7 months and travel the Southwest. There is a lot of BLM land where you are able to boondock or disperse camp for 14 days at a time without having any water hookup’s or electricity for free. We will be relying on solar and our batteries for power and learning how to be more conservative with our water consumption.
I have done a lot of research on how to find these spots, navigate to them and I will be documenting everything on this as well as sharing final images and how I captured them along the way.
If you would like to follow along and learn about this type of camping as well as how I scout out and photograph the places we find then please sign up for my email list so you can get notified each time I post.
Thank you for following along and make sure to travel while you are young!
